The question I get asked the most is...can you fix, or do you do... (fill in the blank).
My answer would most likely be "yes", but I probably would not do that for you as a customer.
I have the gift and ability to fix about anything, but I also am smart enough to know that I need to "stay in my lane" as the saying goes.
I have enough respect for my customers, and potential customers to realize my level of expertise.
If I am not comfortable with performing that task, or taking that project on, I will be more than happy to let you know that, and if I have a recommendation for you, I will refer you to a person that I would trust to complete the project for you in a professional manner.
I am not going to practice the project on you!
My advice to you as you are looking for a competent and professional handyman or contractor, is to be sure to ask questions and ask for references for a similar project.
My personal experience is to be cautious with those who boast they can "fix or do anything" you ask them to.
They probably can, but would it be done in a way that you would want it to be done?
Are they an expert in that area, or are you going to be the guinea pig?
As a rule of thumb, ask if they are licensed and insured - you would be surprised at how many are not; and that never ends well.
